I won’t be achieving my goal of 30 lbs. lost by the end of August.
Sadly, I’ll have to settle for a meager 20 lbs. This clocks in at a rate of a little better than 7 lbs. a month since I started in mid to late May.
I’ve not done any “dieting” per se. Just exercising 50 to 90 minutes a day and cutting down on portions and sugar. Believe you me, there’ve been many trips to places like Chipotle, Potbelly’s, Davanni’s, Fat Lorenzo’s, not to mention visits from Papas John and Murphy.
Overall, I’m very pleased with my progress. I haven’t done anything during this period that I can’t or don’t want to continue to do for the rest of my life.
So even though I didn’t reach my goal of 30 lbs. by September, I achived what I was really after: a repeatable formula for reaching and maintaining a healthy weight.
