Nursing a little case of burn-out

I'm taking care of a small, minor case of the burn-out these last few days, letting the charge build up. The timing isn't the best because I'm about to have an amazing shift of priority in my life, what with a baby due at the end of the month, but what are you going to do.

Things have been a little more stress-packed and weighted with introspection and "by this time next month, I'll not be able to do X because of the youngster" types of thoughts.

I've got some time scheduled today to do some work on the script and to start drawing, but I can't promise results this week.

Spent some time this weekend shopping for rocking chairs and some furniture odds and ends, which was simply exhausting for me. We've got the baby's room put together, Erin organized the dresser into a full-on changing station. We've got the bag packed (mostly). So we have the basics covered. We'd be ready to go today if it came to it.

But, that's not to say I didn't spend a decent chunk of yesterday playing the Civ IV. Good fun. Very relaxing.
